N1 AI Voice Recorder Buyer FAQ: Costs, Configuration and Handover
N1 gives customers a simple first step: switch on the recorder and capture a conversation without first installing an app. MynaAI+ adds file transfer and AI tools afterwards. For a distributor, the buying decision also includes service costs, the supplied configuration and a customer handoff that explains how files are managed.
Explore the N1 AI Note Card product details, then use these questions to prepare a sample evaluation or sourcing inquiry. Current AI plans and commercial terms should be checked before making an offer to customers.
Product fit and service costs
1. Which customers and recording scenarios fit N1?
N1 is a card-style AI voice recorder for customers who want physical recording controls and original MP3 files, with optional app processing later. NOTE suits meetings, customer discussions, interviews, lectures and training, including nearby video meetings or classes played aloud. CALL suits close-range ordinary phone, WhatsApp and WeChat calls. Position and background noise affect results; evaluate the intended setting and obtain any required recording consent. It is useful to demonstrate capture separately from transcription or cloud upload.
2. What reference configuration and package should a buyer check?
Current N1 documentation lists 4 GB eMMC storage, dual microphones, MP3 recording and a 400 mAh battery. Approximate reference figures are 12 hours of recording per charge and 185 hours on 4 GB, with files around 20 MB per recorded hour. Charging has a theoretical estimate of about two hours and can take longer. Recording while charging is supported. Confirm the supplied configuration and test the sample; approximate figures should not become unconditional promises.
The standard box contains 1× N1 recorder, 1× magnetic data cable, 1× USB adapter, 1× magnetic attachment ring, 1× protective case and 1× printed quick guide. Verify the actual shipment contents and artwork version before approving the customer offer.
3. How should a reseller explain free AI allowance and additional services?
MynaAI+ provides complimentary AI time and image-recognition allowances. Transcription, simultaneous interpretation, AI Encyclopedia and image translation consume the applicable allowance; summaries and mind maps also consume allowance. Profile shows current amounts, balances and reset dates. My VIP membership shows additional options and current prices. Do not quote a fixed free allowance or price from an old screenshot.
The recorder can still capture audio when AI allowance is used up. Separate the hardware price from the customer’s possible AI-processing spend; do not present every app function as unlimited and permanently free.
4. What does free cloud storage include, and what should privacy-sensitive buyers ask?
Under the current N1 rule, cloud storage is free while the recorder remains bound and in use, without file-count, individual-file-size or retention-time limits. Files must first finish syncing from N1 to the phone app, and cloud upload must be enabled in Profile > My cloud. Upload is off by default. A device-only file cannot upload directly.
Buyers with data-location, retention or organizational privacy requirements should request current written hosting and data-handling terms. Do not infer a particular server location or compliance status from the words “cloud storage.”
5. Do purchased AI services follow the customer account or the device?
Purchased AI services follow N1 and remain with the device after unbinding. One recorder can bind to one account at a time, while an account may manage multiple recorders. A customer changing phones with the same account does not need to unbind. Before transferring N1 to a different account, export important files and unbind it from the original account; unbinding clears device files. Document this before rotating demonstration units or handing equipment to another employee; export important audio first.
Sample evaluation and customer handoff
6. What should a distributor test before choosing N1?
Use a repeatable N1 sample-evaluation checklist. Record and replay a consented NOTE conversation and a nearby CALL example. Check the original MP3, not only an AI summary. Test transfer on the intended iPhone/Android models, inspect AI output in the required languages, check allowance balances, and confirm cloud upload. Power N1 off and copy an MP3 to a computer with the supplied magnetic cable and adapter if needed.
Include battery, storage, package and guide checks appropriate to the supplied sample. Review important names, figures and decisions against the original recording. Avoid treating a single quiet-room demonstration as proof of every customer’s room or phone-call performance.
7. Which instructions are essential in the customer handoff?
Show that recording works before phone binding. Explain the default 10-minute recording-length setting and where to change it. Keep the app-download QR and full-manual QR clearly labeled. First app use involves region selection and the phone’s AI-service, Bluetooth, location and other permission prompts.
Explain that Bluetooth transfer needs MynaAI+ visible in the foreground and the phone unlocked; locking or switching apps interrupts it. Do not promise a fixed transfer time. Include cloud’s device-to-app-first sequence and a reminder to export important recordings before deletion or unbinding. App/firmware updates are general software troubleshooting steps; the app home screen’s top-right support icon provides further help.
Wholesale and private-label order checks
8. Where should buyers confirm price, MOQ, delivery and warranty?
Request a current written quotation for device price, quantity tiers, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, warranty and after-sales scope. Confirm the intended destination, exact configuration and any required compliance documents for that market. In-app AI plans are a separate service item and should be checked at the time of purchase.
A useful comparison includes the hardware quotation, expected AI use and the customer-support material needed for the channel. Confirm current plan terms before giving any long-term service promise.
9. What should a private-label buyer specify before requesting a proposal?
Provide the target market and users, expected order quantity, branding artwork, packaging requirements, guide languages and any requested app-related changes. Ask which elements can be supplied for that project and obtain written confirmation before offering a customized version. Do not assume a logo, language, app change or service plan is available simply because a standard N1 sample supports the underlying recording function.
