FAQ for WiFi Cameras (App: WisdomCam/Tuya Smart)

★ Q: What is the relationship between the TinyCam Pro App and the WisdomCam App?

A: The two apps are almost the same, but we will mainly use and improve WisdomCam in the future. You can download the latest version of the WisdomCam APK file here: http://fir.jkgeek.com/wisdomcam.

★ Q: Does the model TY017 TUYA Wall Lamp Security Wi-Fi Camera PIR Recorder have a long standby function?

A: The PIR sensor on the TY017 wall lamp is only used to detect human body temperature to trigger the wall lamp (it does not activate the camera). This product does not have a long standby function; it is designed to be used with continuous power supply. Therefore, we only include one battery as a backup.

The power consumption of the product during the day is 250mA, and at night, with the night vision lamp on, it is 500mA. As a result, even with two batteries, the usage time would not be very long. If customers need long-term use, the device must be continuously plugged into a power source.

The long standby version of this product is still under development, and there is no confirmed release date yet.

★ Q: What is the power consumption and operation duration during the day and night with different battery capacities of normal wifi cameras?

A: The power consumption during the day is 250mA, and at night, with 5 meters invisible night vision LEDs working, it is 500mA.

○ Daytime: 10 hours

○ Nighttime: 5 hours

● 10000mAh battery:

● WiFi Mini Camera Mode:

○ Daytime power consumption: 250mA

○ Nighttime power consumption (with 5 meters invisible night vision LEDs): 500mA

● 4G Mode:
